<\/p>\nToyota has secured the largest share of bus sales in Egypt during the first 10 months of 2024, selling 1,600 buses, which accounts for 28.3% of the total market sales.<\/p>\n
However, overall bus sales have seen a decline of 15.6% compared to the same period in 2023.<\/p>\n
A total of 5,600 buses were sold in the first 10 months of 2024, down from around 6,700 buses<\/p>\n
during the same period last year.<\/p>\n
According to the latest monthly report from the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC), locally assembled bus sales decreased by 18.5%, with more than 4,000 units sold in 2024 compared to 4,900 units in the previous year.<\/p>\n
In contrast, imported bus sales increased by 7.4% year-on-year, with 1,600 buses sold in the first 10 months of 2024, up from 1,700 units in the same period in 2023.<\/p>\n
In terms of brand performance, Chevrolet ranked second with a 25.4% market share, selling 1,600 buses.<\/p>\n
