<\/p>\nThe Japanese automaker Nissan has dominated the sales of locally assembled passenger cars during the first ten months of 2024, securing a market share of 32.5% and selling 10,900 units.<\/p>\n
According to the monthly report by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC), sales of locally assembled cars surged by 25.7%, reaching 33,700 units compared to 26,800 units in the same period of 2023.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, imported car sales experienced a modest rise of 9.9%, totaling 28,600 units, up from 26,000 units during the corresponding period in 2023.<\/p>\n
Following Nissan, the Cherry – Ghabbour brand ranked second with a market share of 29.7%, achieving sales of more than 10,000 cars.<\/p>\n
Hyundai secured third place with a 23.9% market share and over 8,000 units sold.<\/p>\n
