4.6% Increase in Sales of Locally Assembled Trucks in First 8 Months<\/h1>\n

In the first eight months of 2024, truck sales locally assembled grew by 4.6%, reaching 6,500 units compared to 6,200 during the same period in 2023, as per the latest monthly report by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).<\/p>\n

Conversely, sales of imported trucks saw a significant drop, decreasing by 34.6% to 1,200 units, down from 1,800 units in the comparable period.<\/p>\n

Chevrolet emerged as the market leader, capturing a 74.8% share with 5,600 trucks sold in the first eight months of 2024. \"growth-locally-assembled-truck-sales-2024\n\"Toyota ranked second with an 11.2% market share, recording 864 truck sales.\"growth-locally-assembled-truck-sales-2024\n\"<\/p>\n

The AMIC report highlighted an overall contraction in Egypt’s truck market, with total sales down by 16.3% in the first eight months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
