<\/p>\nThe \u201cREV IT UP\u201d Egypt-Middle East Championship has officially announced its qualifying rounds for speed racing, set to take place at Dubai\u2019s \u201cDrift Home\u201d circuit from October 10-13, 2024. The event will feature over 20 competitors from across the region.<\/p>\n
Organized under the guidance of the Egyptian Automobile and Touring Club, the championship holds the endorsement of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) as Egypt\u2019s official representative of these bodies.<\/p>\n
The championship details were unveiled in a press conference at the club\u2019s Cairo headquarters, with notable attendees such as Mohamed Askar, Vice Chairman of the Club\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
Askar highlighted the event as a significant step towards developing and expanding motorsports across the Middle East and North Africa.<\/p>\n
According to Sameh Abdel Qawi, the event organizer, this year\u2019s tournament also marks the 10th anniversary of \u201cREV IT UP.\u201d<\/p>\n
The tournament has grown from hosting local races to becoming a prestigious championship in the region, drawing participation from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Kuwait, and more, creating a vibrant and diverse competitive environment.<\/p>\n
Beyond racing, the event aims to engage fans and boost motorsport culture in the Arab world, with a series of immersive experiences designed to attract and entertain audiences.<\/p>\n
