This represents a 15.2% rise, according to a report issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.<\/p>\n<p>The monthly report also revealed a 15.2% increase in the imports of auto spare parts during May 2024, compared to the same period in 2023. The value of these imports reached $70.4 million, up from $61.1 million in May 2023, marking an increase of $9.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>However, the report noted a general decline in Egyptian imports, which recorded $7.38 billion in May 2024, compared to $7.77 billion in the same month of 2023, a decrease of 5.1%.<\/p>\n<p>Imports of goods transport vehicles declined sharply by 61.1%.
