passenger cars witnessed an impressive 11% increase, totaling 17.9 thousand cars, compared to about 16.1 thousand in the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>The Egyptian automotive market experienced a notable 18.4% upswing in overall car sales, reaching approximately 23.5 thousand cars in Q1 2024, compared to over 23.1 thousand in the corresponding period of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>However, truck sales across various categories dipped by 16%, recording 3.6 thousand trucks versus 4.3 thousand in the prior year.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, &#8220;bus&#8221;
