Private car sales have marked a consistent rise for the third consecutive month.<\/h1>\n

In November of the previous year, a total of 8,000 cars were successfully sold, indicating a substantial growth of 52%.<\/h2>\n

This positive trend in private car sales in Egypt has been documented in the monthly report released by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).<\/p>\n

However, contrasting this upward trend, the report reveals a 53% decline in private car sales during the initial 11 months of 2023, amounting to 60.8 thousand cars, as opposed to the 128.3 thousand cars sold during the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n

The overall estimate for car sales in Egypt throughout the first 11 months of 2023 stands at approximately 79.9 thousand cars. This reflects a significant reduction compared to the 176.8 thousand cars sold during the corresponding period in 2022, indicating a decline of about 54.8%.<\/p>\n

Bus sales experienced a notable drop to 7.6 thousand buses during the initial 11 months of 2023, down from 15.9 thousand buses in the same period of 2022, marking a decrease of 52%. Similarly, truck sales recorded a decline, with the sale of over 11.4 thousand trucks compared to 32.5 thousand units in the comparative period, reflecting a substantial decrease of 65%.<\/p>\n

In terms of brand dominance, the Japanese brand “Nissan” emerged as the top-selling brand during the first 11 months of 2023<\/h2>\n

With over 12.3 thousand cars sold, it secured a substantial market share of 15.4%. Following closely, “Chevrolet” claimed the second position with an 11.7% market share and a total of 9.3 thousand cars sold.<\/p>\n

The Chinese brand “Chery – Ghabbour” secured the third spot with an 11.4% market share and sales surpassing 9 thousand cars.<\/p>\n

Maintaining its position, the “Toyota” brand held the fourth place with an 8.4% market share, selling over 6.7 thousand cars.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the “Hyundai” brand ascended to the fifth position with a market share of 6.3% and sales exceeding 5,000 cars.<\/p>\n

Although the “Suzuki” brand slipped to the sixth position despite increasing its market share to 6.2%, recording the sale of 4.9 thousand cars,<\/p>\n

In the ninth position, the “Renault” brand claimed a 5% market share, with total sales reaching 3.9 thousand cars.<\/p>\n

Conversely, the “BYD” brand descended to the tenth spot with a 5% market share and a total of 3.9 thousand cars sold.<\/p>\n

The “Mitsubishi” brand occupied the eleventh position with a 3% market share and sales of approximately 2.3 thousand cars,<\/p>\n
