Notably, &#8220;Nissan&#8221; leads in sales, while &#8220;Chevrolet&#8221; secures the second position over the 10-month period.<\/p>\n<p>Private car sales in Egypt experienced a significant upturn, reaching 6.9 thousand cars in the reported month, reflecting a remarkable 14.7% increase compared to the sales figure in October of the previous year, which exceeded 6 thousand cars.<\/p>\n<p>However, the year-to-date data for the first ten months of the current year paints a different picture, showing a decline of approximately 57% in private car sales, totaling 52.8 thousand cars. Hyundai, falling to seventh place with a 5.9% market share, recorded sales of about 4.1 thousand cars.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable brands include BYD, Renault, Kia, Mitsubishi, and Citroen, each holding their respective positions in the market.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of monthly sales, the market witnessed a decline of 0.4%, with 8.9 thousand cars sold compared to the same month in the previous year, which saw sales exceeding 9 thousand cars.<\/p>\n<p>Bus sales declined to more than 1,000 buses in October, a 27.8% decrease from the 1.4 thousand buses sold during the same period in 2022.
