Meanwhile, Suzuki, with its 7% market share, landed the sixth spot, selling 406 units in August.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable mentions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">BYD, securing seventh place with 6% market share and 402 units sold.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Renault, in the eighth position, holding a 4% market share with 233 cars sold.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Opel and Citroen, both holding a 3% market share, managed to sell 206 and 200 cars respectively.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The Geely Abu Ghaly brand rounded off the list in the eleventh spot, matching Citroen&#8217;s sales and market share figures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interestingly, while these brands flourished, the overall market saw a dip. \u201cPrivate\u201d car sales experienced a 28.4% decline, with sales plummeting to 6.2 thousand units in August, down from 8.6 thousand in the same month the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>In the broader vehicle market, bus sales dipped by 51.7%, translating to 495 units sold in comparison to over a thousand in August 2022.
