The &#8220;MG&#8221; brand held the eighth spot with approximately 1.1 thousand cars sold, securing a 4.3% market share.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hyundai&#8221; secured the ninth spot, selling 1,000 cars and earning a 3.7% market share. Rounding off the top ten was &#8220;Opel&#8221;, selling a total of 741 cars, with a 2.8% market share.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Citroen&#8221; ranked eleventh with 660 cars sold and a 2.5% market share, followed by &#8220;Subaru&#8221; in twelfth place, managing to sell 637 cars and securing a 2.4% market share.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining car models recorded sales of 1.8 thousand cars in the first half of the year, marking a 7.1% market share.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC), private car sales declined to approximately 26.8 thousand cars in the first half of 2023, down 71% from around 92.6 thousand cars during the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>The overall car market also witnessed a drop in sales by 69.88% during the first half of the year, with approximately 36.8 thousand cars sold, compared to 122.3 thousand cars during the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Bus sales decreased to 3.9 thousand, down 56% from 9 thousand buses in 2022.
