The “Motor Week Championship” Begins at the El Alamein Festival with 300 Contestants
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, announced during a special press conference details about the Motor Week Championship. This event will be held in the city of New Alamein from August 16 to 24.
The championship includes 12 car races and is organized in cooperation with the United Media Services Company and under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It is part of the activities of the El Alamein World Festival.
The Motor Week Championship, or “Motor Week,” has achieved significant success in its first and second editions in El Alamein. It stands out as one of the most prominent and important events in the city.
This year’s championship includes 12 different races, with over 300 competitors participating in various competitions. Additionally, there will be an exhibition featuring cars, motorcycles, boats, and after-sales services, making it the largest combined event organized in Egypt and the Middle East.
Motorsport is one of the most important international sports, with a wide audience spanning all age groups in Egypt, the Middle East, and around the world.
The Motor Week Championship aims to be the largest gathering of motorsports in the region. For the first time in Egypt, it brings together different types of racing, including speed, drift, rally, drag racing for supercars and motorcycles, 4X4 challenges, simulators, karting, remote control racing, and jet skiing.
