Significant Price Reductions for MG Cars in March 2024
The prices of MG cars, including models such as the 5, RX5 plus, 6, and ZS for the 2024 model year, have experienced a notable decrease of up to 260 thousand pounds this March, as reported by Al-Mansour Automotive Company, the local agent for MG in Egypt.
“MG RX5 plus”
Prices for the “MG RX5 plus” models have been slashed by approximately 250 to 260 thousand pounds,
- with the “Comfort” variant now priced at 1.45 million pounds
- and the “Luxury” variant at 1.5 million pounds.

The 2024 MG RX5 Plus, an SUV, boasts a 1500 cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 171 horsepower and 250 Newton/meters of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 9.8 seconds, with an average fuel consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 km.
“MG 5”
MG 5 car prices have also been reduced by around 170 to 200 thousand pounds,
- with the “STANDARD” variant now priced at approximately 830 thousand pounds
- and the “Luxury” variant at 900 thousand pounds.

The 2024 MG 5 sedan features a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine producing 120 horsepower and 150 Newton/meters of torque.
“MG ZS”
MG ZS model prices have seen a decrease of about 175 to 180 thousand pounds.
- The “Comfort” variant is now priced at around 975 thousand pounds,
- while the “Luxury” variant ranges from 1 to 1.02 million pounds.

The 2024 MG ZS SUVs come equipped with a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine producing 123 horsepower and 135 Newton/meters of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
“MG 6”
Prices for the 2024 MG 6 models have been reduced by approximately 175 to 180 thousand pounds.
- The “Luxury – Red Interior” variant is priced at 1.22 million pounds,
- while the “Luxury – Black Interior” variant costs 1.25 million pounds.
