“Renault Car Prices Soar by £200,000 in January 2024: EIM Reveals New Figures”

The Egyptian International Motors Company (EIM), acting as the local representative for Renault in Egypt, has unveiled the updated prices for Renault models – Taliant, Duster, Megane, and Austral – for the month of January.

Renault Taliant:

The Renault Taliant sees a price hike ranging between £115,000 and £135,000.

• “Evolution” is now priced at £925,000.

• 

  “Techno” is available at £1,025,000.

The Taliant, classified as a sedan, features a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 100 horsepower and 140 Newton meters of torque, coupled with a CVT automatic transmission. Its dimensions include a length of 4396 mm, width of 1848 mm, height of 1501 mm, ground clearance of 161 mm, wheelbase of 2649 mm, and a luggage space of 528 liters catering to family storage needs.

Renault Duster:

Prices for Renault Duster experience an increase of £70,000 to £90,000.

• “Vision” is priced at approximately £1,110,000.
• The third category, “Signature,” is listed at £1,290,000.

  

The Renault Duster, an SUV model, is equipped with a 1600 cc four-cylinder engine, generating 115 horsepower and a maximum torque of 156 Newton/meters, connected to an automatic transmission.

Renault Megane:

Renault Megane models witness a £200,000 increase.

• “Vision” is priced at around £1,290,000.

• “Dynamic” is now at £1,375,000.

• “Signature” is listed at £1,430,000.

• “Signature W/O” costs approximately £1,440,000.

• “Dynamic TURBO” reaches £1,450,000.

• “Signature W/O” is priced at £1,530,000.

• The seventh and eighth categories both exceed £1,500,000.
• “Signature+” costs around £1,650,000.

  

Renault Megane offers two versions locally, one with a 1600 cc four-cylinder engine and the other with a 1300 cc turbo engine, providing different power and torque outputs.

Renault Austral:

Renault Austral experiences an estimated £200,000 price increase.

• “Evolution” is recorded at approximately £1,750,000.

• “Techno” is listed at £1,850,000.

• “Iconic” is priced at £1,950,000.

• “Esprit Alpine” is set at £2,050,000.
• “Black Edition Esprit Alpine” costs £2,060,000.

  

Renault Austral models, falling under the SUV category, are equipped with a 1300 cc turbo four-cylinder engine, generating 150 horsepower and 250 Newton/meters of torque.
