The Egyptian European Automobiles Company, under the umbrella of the Al-Qasrawy Group and the official dealer for Citroen in Egypt, has disclosed a significant price increase for its 2024 lineup, which includes models such as the C Elysee, C3, C3 Aircross, C4, C4X, and C5 Aircross. The price adjustments, revealed in October, range from 10,000 to 55,000 Egyptian pounds across various models and trims.
2024 Citroen C Elysee
For the 2024 C Elysee sedan, prices have surged by 10,000 pounds. The “Comfort” base model now stands at 699,000 pounds, while the higher-end “Luxury” trim has reached 759,000 pounds. This model comes equipped with a 1600 cc four-cylinder engine, delivering 115 horsepower and 150 Newton-meters of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
2024 Citroen C3
The Citroen C3, a hatchback, sees an increase of 15,000 to 20,000 pounds for the 2024 iteration. The entry-level “Feel” trim is now priced at 839,000 pounds, with the “Shine” variant climbing to 939,000 pounds. Under the hood, a 1200 cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine powers the vehicle, offering 110 horsepower and 205 Newton-meters of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Citroen C3 Aircross
The 2024 Citroen C3 Aircross, part of the SUV segment, experienced a price jump of 15,000 pounds. The “Feel” trim is now tagged at 979,000 pounds, while the “Shine” trim has escalated to 1.084 million pounds. Similar to the C3 hatchback, it also utilizes a 1200 cc four-cylinder engine with the same power output and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Citroen C4
The Citroen C4 crossover SUV’s price has risen by 20,000 pounds for the 2024 model. The “Feel – Blue” and “Shine – Red” trims are now listed at 1.165 million pounds and 1.270 million pounds, respectively. A 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine provides 155 horsepower and 205 Newton-meters of torque, and it boasts a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 8.2 seconds, courtesy of its six-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Citroen C4X
For the 2024 Citroen C4X, the prices have escalated by 20,000 pounds across its two trims. The “Feel” trim is now available for 1.215 million pounds, while the “Shine” trim is going for 1.335 million pounds. The C4X features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine that outputs 130 horsepower and 230 Newton-meters of torque.
2024 Citroen C5 Aircross
The 2024 Citroen C5 Aircross has witnessed a price hike between 25,000 and 55,000 pounds. The SUV now starts at 1.395 million pounds for the “Live” model and increases to 1.520 million pounds for the “Feel Without Panorama.” The “Feel With Panorama” is priced at 1.570 million pounds, and the top-tier “Shine” comes in at 1.670 million pounds. This model is propelled by a 1600 cc four-cylinder engine generating 165 horsepower and 240 Newton-meters of torque, supported by a six-speed automatic transmission.
