Nissan Egypt’s Export Success and Production Milestone

Nissan Egypt’s Export Success and Production Milestone

Nissan Egypt has achieved a notable milestone, exporting 7.5 thousand cars since August 2022. The Managing Director of Nissan Africa, Sherif El-Desouki, highlighted the company’s commitment to exploring new export markets, with a particular focus on expanding its presence in African countries. Additionally, the company is eager to contribute to the replacement initiative.

El-Desouki emphasized the recent introduction of the “e-power” electric car in Morocco, utilizing Nissan’s innovative technology. This model uniquely relies on gasoline to generate the electrical energy required for operation. Reflecting on the past two decades, El-Desouki proudly stated that the Egyptian factory has produced an impressive 300,000 cars, underscoring the significance of the African market amid the saturation of American and European markets.
