Modern Motors, the official representative for Suzuki in Egypt, announced the introduction of two new Suzuki models today: the Suzuki Fronex and the Grand Vitara, both from the 2024 lineup.
Mohamed Younis, Chairman of Modern Motors, highlighted that the Fronex is making its debut in the Egyptian market simultaneously with its global launch. He further noted that while the Grand Vitara has been available locally before, today marks the unveiling of its most recent iteration.
Younis added that in the upcoming days, details regarding the official pricing, booking, and delivery procedures will be made public.
Suzuki Fronex 2024
Resulting from a collaborative effort between Suzuki and Toyota, the 2024 Suzuki Fronex is a fresh take on the Grand Vitara and Baleno models. Tailored for the youth and small families, this hatchback model boasts an exterior that melds the aesthetics of sporty SUVs with crossovers.
Powered by a 1,500 cc four-cylinder engine, the Fronex churns out 101 horsepower and 136.8 Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. In terms of size, the Fronex measures roughly 3,995 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, 1,550 mm in height, and has a 2,520 mm wheelbase.
Suzuki Grand Vitara 2024
The 2024 Suzuki Grand Vitara, a sub-compact SUV, is another product of the Suzuki-Toyota alliance. This model features a hybrid system that integrates a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a self-charging battery pack. Together, they produce 105 horsepower and 135 Newton-meters of torque. Customers have the option between a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Grand Vitara’s dimensions stand at approximately 4,345 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, 1,645 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,600 mm.
