Korean KGM Provides Cars in the Free Zone in Support of the Egyptian Government’s Initiative

Egypt Cars, the agent for the Korean KGM brand, announced that it offers various advantages for purchasing KGM cars through its branch in the free zone inside Egypt.

He explained that purchasing a car is a significant decision that requires trust and minimal risk. Imported cars might have specifications unsuitable for use in Egypt and potential defects that could emerge over time. By offering KGM cars through the free zone, these risks are mitigated, with additional benefits including a 5-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first, and continuous after-sales and maintenance services.

Abu Khaf highlighted that this initiative positively impacts Egyptians working abroad and the automotive sector in Egypt.

He pointed out that the KGM brand supports the Egyptian government’s decisions and strives to provide suitable solutions for the Egyptian market’s needs while advancing the automotive sector in the country.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian government’s initiative to import cars for Egyptians abroad allows them to import cars completely exempt from customs in exchange for a foreign currency deposit placed in the Central Bank for five years.

This deposit is refunded in Egyptian pounds at the current exchange rate at the end of the period.
