Sales data reveals a staggering 43.1% decline in imported truck sales during this period.

Leading the sales charge is Chevrolet, boasting 2.7 thousand trucks sold, capturing a commanding 73.5% market share.

Following closely behind is Toyota, securing the second position with 375 trucks sold, accounting for approximately 10.2% of the market.egyptian-truck-market-imported-sales-decline

Locally assembled trucks also faced a downturn, with sales dipping from 3.3 thousand in the same period last year to 3.1 thousand this year, marking a 7.8% decrease.

The Automotive Market Information Council’s (AMIC) monthly report sheds light on this trend, outlining the challenges faced by the truck market amidst economic uncertainties and supply chain disruptions.

In addition to Chevrolet and Toyota, other notable brands in the Egyptian truck market include Mitsubishi,egyptian-truck-market-imported-sales-decline
MCV/Mercedes, and GMC. Despite the overall decline in sales, these brands continue to compete for market share, with Mitsubishi securing the third spot with 282 trucks sold.
