GB Auto, in collaboration with Hyundai International, has initiated a recall campaign for the Hyundai ix35 model in Egypt, in partnership with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency.
GB Auto has announced the recall of 2,296 Hyundai ix35 cars produced from June 2013 to June 2015. This recall is part of a precautionary measure to implement a free replacement campaign for the breaker fuse. As a result, all customers are required to visit authorized maintenance centers.
The company emphasized that owners of the mentioned models should proactively contact the company to make advance reservations. This initiative falls within the broader scope of ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the system, underscoring the Consumer Protection Agency’s commitment to consumer security and safety.
In the event that their cars are included in the recall, owners are urged to call the company’s hotline (16661) for advance reservations, data updates, and confirmation that their vehicle’s chassis numbers are within the recall campaign. Additionally, they can schedule an appointment at the nearest authorized service center, incurring no costs or fees.
The Consumer Protection Agency encourages consumers to promptly report any complaints or violations. They can reach out via the Consumer Protection Agency hotline (19588) from any landline or send a message through the WhatsApp service at 01000000329.
