Egyptian European Automotive Increases Prices for 2023 Citroen Models
Egypt’s European Automotive Company, a subsidiary ofthe Kasrawy Group and the official distributor for the French automaker Citroen, has announced price hikes for its 2023 Citroen models in August. The price increases range from 15,000 to 80,000 pounds, impacting the C-Elysee, C3, C3 Aircross, C4, C4X, and C5 Aircross models.
Citroen C-Elysee
Prices for the Citroen C-Elysee have been raised by 15,000 to 20,000 pounds. The “Comfort” trim now costs 674,000 pounds, while the “LUXURY” trim is priced at 729,000 pounds. The 2023 C-Elysee is a sedan equipped with a 1,600 cc four-cylinder engine that produces 115 horsepower. Its features include a six-speed automatic transmission and an average fuel consumption of 7.1 liters per 100 km.
Citroen C3
The Citroen C3 hatchback’s price has surged by 55,000 to 80,000 pounds. The “FEEL” trim is priced at 819,000 pounds, and the “SHINE” trim at 929,000 pounds. This hatchback variant has a 1,200 cc turbo three-cylinder engine generating 110 horsepower. Additionally, it boasts safety features like airbags, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability control system.
Citroen C3 Aircross
The Citroen C3 Aircross witnessed a price hike of around 39,000 pounds. The “FEEL” trim is now 959,000 pounds, while the “Shine” version reaches 1.059 million pounds. Falling under the SUV category, it’s powered by a 1,200 cc four-cylinder engine and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds.
Citroen C4
The 2023 Citroen C4 crossover SUV has seen an increment between 20,000 and 25,000 pounds. The “FEEL – BLUE” and “SHINE – RED” trims are now priced at 1.120 million and 1.225 million pounds, respectively. Its 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers 155 horsepower. Distinctive features include LED headlights and taillights.
Citroen C4X
Prices for the Citroen C4X have risen by 20,000 to 30,000 pounds. The “FEEL” trim costs 1.170 million pounds, while the “SHINE” is priced at 1.290 million pounds. It boasts a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine generating 130 horsepower.
Citroen C5 Aircross
The 2023 Citroen C5 Aircross has a price increase of 20,000 pounds. It offers various trims: “LIVE” (1.340 million pounds), “Feel Without Panorama” (1.465 million), “Feel With Panorama” (1.515 million), and “Shine” (1.615 million). This SUV features a 1,600 cc four-cylinder engine producing 165 horsepower, and its average fuel consumption is 7 liters per 100 km.
