“Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Report”: Licensing Over 21.1 Thousand Vehicles in April
During April, the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance reported licensing over 21.1 thousand vehicles, comprising 7.7 thousand private cars, 11.9 thousand bicycles, and 1,021 other vehicles.
The monthly report highlights that 2,393 vehicles from the 2021 model year, 4,008 from 2022, 3,987 from 2023, and 10,755 from 2024 were insured.
Private Cars
Among the insured vehicles, 7.7 thousand were private cars, including 274 from 2021, 497 from 2022, 1,286 from 2023, and 5,667 from 2024.
Motorcycles
The report also indicates that 11.9 thousand motorcycles were insured, with 2,037 from 2021, 3,240 from 2022, 2,501 from 2023, and 4,195 from 2024.
Truck Vehicles
Additionally, 1,021 truck vehicles were insured, consisting of 26 from 2021, 146 from 2022, 136 from 2023, and 713 from 2024.
Overall Rankings
“Hyundai” led for the second consecutive month with 867 vehicles, followed by “Chevrolet” with 814, “Kia” with 707, “MG” with 637, and “Nissan” with 617 vehicles. “Toyota,” “Skoda,” “Mitsubishi,” “Volkswagen,” and “BMW” also made the top ten list.
In the private car category, “Hyundai” dominated with 863 cars, followed by “Kia,” “MG,” “Nissan,” and “Mercedes.”
