Diamond Motors Announces Price Hike for 2023 Mitsubishi Models

Starting at an increase of 30,000 pounds and reaching up to 40,000 pounds, Diamond Motors, Mitsubishi’s sole agent in Egypt, has declared a rise in prices for its 2023 lineup. This change is effective this September for models including the Xpander, Eclipse Cross, Mirage, and Attrage.

Mitsubishi Xpander:

For the 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander:

  • The “Mid Line” variant is now priced at 980,000 pounds.
  • The “High Line” version has been marked up to 1.04 million pounds, representing a 40,000-pound increase.

Performance wise, the Xpander accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 13.8 seconds. It boasts an impressive fuel efficiency, consuming an average of 5 liters for every 100 km driven.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross:

The 2023 Eclipse Cross saw a price adjustment of around 40,000 pounds across its variants:

  • The base model is now 1.160 million pounds.
  • The next tier is priced at 1.225 million pounds.
  • The third variant comes in at 1.285 million pounds.
  • Lastly, the top-end model is set at 1.355 million pounds.

The 2022 Eclipse Cross, a multi-purpose sports car, is powered by a 1,500 cc turbo four-cylinder engine. This engine generates 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Newton/meters. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the car can sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in a swift 8.6 seconds. Its fuel efficiency averages at 6.7 liters for every 100 km.

Mitsubishi Attrage & Mirage:

Both the Attrage and Mirage 2023 models underwent a price escalation of 30,000 pounds. Each model has only one variant available. The Attrage is priced at 580,000 pounds, while the Mirage is slightly higher at 595,000 pounds.

Under the hood, both cars house a 3-cylinder MIVEC engine with a 1.2-liter capacity. This powertrain churns out 76 horsepower and delivers a torque of 100 Newton/meters at 4,000 rpm. They come with a 6-speed automatic CVT transmission. Notably, the Mirage promises a fuel consumption of 1 liter per 22.1 km, whereas the Attrage delivers 22.3 km per liter.

On the exterior, both cars showcase a striking black front grille adorned with red lines. They’re also fitted with halogen headlights, front and rear fog lights, electric side mirrors, and sporty 15-inch wheels.
