Diamond Motors Announces Mitsubishi Price Hike by EGP 75,000

Diamond Motors, Mitsubishi’s exclusive representative, has declared an upward revision in the prices of its 2023 models: Xpander, Eclipse Cross, Mirage, and Attrage. The new prices reflect an increase ranging from EGP 30,000 to EGP 75,000.

Mitsubishi Xpander 2023

The Xpander 2023 sees a price surge of EGP 40,000:

  • The Mid line variant is now priced at 940,000 pounds.
  • The High line variant has reached the one million pound mark.
  • This multi-purpose vehicle comes with a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine, pushing out 104 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox. The Xpander can clock 0-100 km/h in 13.8 seconds, boasting an average fuel consumption of 5 liters for every 100 km.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2023

Prices for the Eclipse Cross 2023 have risen between EGP 40,000 and EGP 75,000 across its variants:

  • The base variant starts at 1.120 million pounds.
  • The next variant is priced at 1.185 million pounds.
  • The third variant is tagged at 1.245 million pounds.
  • The top-end variant is available for 1.315 million pounds.
  • The 2022 Eclipse Cross model, a sporty multi-use vehicle, houses a turbocharged 1500 cc four-cylinder engine, delivering 150 horsepower and 250 Nm torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance-wise, it achieves 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds with an average fuel efficiency of 6.7 liters per 100 km.

Mitsubishi Attrage and Mirage 2023

Diamond Motors has revised the prices for both the 2023 Attrage and Mirage models by EGP 30,000:

  • The Attrage is now priced at 550,000 pounds.
  • The Mirage is slightly higher, at 565,000 pounds.

Both cars, from the 2023 lineup, are powered by a 3-cylinder MIVEC engine with a 1.2-liter capacity. This engine produces 76 horsepower and a peak torque of 100 Nm at 4,000 rpm, and is coupled with a 6-speed automatic CVT. The Mirage claims a fuel efficiency of 22.1 km/liter, while the Attrage offers 22.3 km/liter.

In terms of design, both vehicles feature a black front grille adorned with red accents, halogen headlights, front and rear fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and sporty 15-inch wheels.
