“Consumer Protection”: Recall and Inspection of Some BMW Models

The Consumer Protection Authority has announced a recall for certain models of the luxury German brand BMW from the 2022 and 2023 production years.

This recall is being conducted in cooperation with BMW’s authorized dealer in Egypt, Global Auto.

According to the statement, the recall campaign affects the following models: X1, IX1, X5, X6, and the 7 Series.

The purpose of this recall is to perform a precautionary inspection of the integrated braking system to ensure its proper functioning.

BMW’s agent in Egypt has advised customers to contact the hotline at 19269 to verify the condition of their vehicle’s chassis and schedule an appointment at the nearest service center. The inspection and any necessary repairs will be conducted at no cost to the customer.

This recall is part of the Consumer Protection Authority’s commitment to ensuring vehicle quality and effectiveness and reflects its ongoing concern for consumer safety.
