“Arabiyat” Launches SsangYong Taurus with Prices Starting at 1.990 Million Pounds

Abu Khaf: Plans Underway for the Release of Electric SsangYong Torres TVX in 2024

Arabiyat Trading and Distribution Company, the exclusive agent for the Korean brand SsangYong in Egypt, has introduced the all-new SsangYong Torres sport utility vehicle.

Ahmed Abu Khaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arabiyat Company and agent for the Korean brand SsangYong, announced that the company is gearing up to launch the fully electric SsangYong Torres TVX in the upcoming year 2024, alongside several other model offerings.

Abu Khaf highlighted that since its introduction to the Egyptian market in 2015, SsangYong has achieved remarkable success and sales in the compact multi-use SUV category.

The company has unveiled the SsangYong Torres in four distinct categories, each with varying equipment and accessories.

• “COMFORT” – Priced at approximately 1.6 million pounds.

• “ADVANCED” – Valued at 1.7 million pounds.

• “LUXURY” – Available for 1.888 million pounds.

• “ADVENTURE” (four-wheel drive) – Offered at around 1.990 million pounds.

The SsangYong Torres is powered by a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc, producing 163 horsepower and 280 Newton meters of torque. It is paired with an automatic transmission. Inside the cabin, you’ll find an entertainment system featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and an additional 8.0-inch touchscreen for climate control, along with a digital instrument cluster.

The vehicle also boasts 20-inch wheels with chrome accents, color-matched door handles, a smart entry system, leather upholstery, a 9-inch screen, a center console screen for air conditioning controls, multifunction buttons, a 12.3-inch screen, rear-seat air conditioning vents, and a wireless phone charger.
