Alkan Auto Announces Price Increase for 2025 BAIC Models
Alkan Auto, the official agent for the Chinese “BAIC” brand in the Egyptian market, has announced a price increase for three of its 2025 models: the X7, X55, and U5 PLUS.
The price hikes range from 10,000 to 25,000 Egyptian pounds, effective from August 2024.
BAIC X7 Model 2025
The prices for the BAIC X7 2025 models have been adjusted as follows, with an increase of approximately 20,000 Egyptian pounds:
- High Line: 1.545 million pounds
- Top Line: 1.620 million pounds
- Premium Line: 1.695 million pounds

BAIC X55 Model 2025
The BAIC X55 2025 models have seen a price increase of 10,000 Egyptian pounds. The updated prices are:
- High Line: 1.260 million pounds
- Top Line: 1.360 million pounds
- Premium Line: 1.485 million pounds

BAIC U5 PLUS Model 2025
For the BAIC U5 PLUS 2025, the prices have been raised by 25,000 Egyptian pounds. The new prices are:
- High Line: 825 thousand pounds
- Top Line: 925 thousand pounds
The BAIC U5 PLUS 2025 is a sedan with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, delivering 111 horsepower and a torque of 142 Newton meters. This model combines efficiency and comfort, making it a practical choice for everyday driving.
