Al-Safa Import and Export Introduces the Zotye T300 at a Starting Price of 775 Thousand Pounds
Al-Safa Import, Export, and Car Trading, a subsidiary of the Infiniti Holding Group and the authorized distributor of the Chinese brand Zotye in Egypt, has unveiled the Zotye T300 in the Egyptian market.
Mustafa Al-Taweel, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, announced today the launch of Zotye T300 models in Egypt, available in two variants: the “Manual” variant priced at 775 thousand pounds, and the “Automatic” variant priced at one million pounds.
Al-Taweel revealed plans to introduce two more Zotye models, one in the last quarter of this year and another in the first quarter of the next.
He outlined an investment of approximately one billion pounds for local assembly of Zotye cars at the company’s factory, with a production capacity of up to 3,000 cars annually.
Initially, the company aims for a local component percentage of about 20%, scaling up to 20,000 cars annually. By 2030, they aim to increase the local product percentage to 60%.
The Zotye T300 features a four-cylinder 1,500cc engine, delivering 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 210 Nm, paired with a CVT transmission and FWD drive system, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
Al-Safa offers a comprehensive maintenance package covering periodic maintenance costs for 5 years or 150,000 km.
The T300 is a medium-sized crossover with a modern, futuristic design, characterized by powerful LED headlights, distinctive daytime running lights, and strong LED fog lights. Its grille bears the Zotye logo, complemented by sporty bumpers facilitating smooth airflow at high speeds.
The Zotye T300 salon exudes luxury and sportiness, with a futuristic layout and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring digital controls.
Nour El-Din Muhammad, Executive Director, disclosed plans to open 4 showrooms and a 3S maintenance center for Zotye cars in 2024, targeting 3,000 car sales this year and offering installment services.
Muhammad emphasized expanding the network to 30 service centers nationwide to support after-sales service and spare parts availability.
He mentioned a campaign offering free inspections for all Zotye car owners in Egypt to coincide with the company’s expanded operations.
Starting today, sales operations and reservations for Zotye cars will commence, with fixed prices upon payment according to the cash system, excluding customs charges.
