Al-Mansour Automotive Announces EGP 50,000 Price Hike for MG Cars
Egypt’s Al-Mansour Automotive, the official distributor for MG vehicles, has confirmed a price increment for its MG 5 and RX5 Plus models. The adjustment ranges between EGP 10,000 and EGP 50,000.
However, a recent report distributed to the company’s authorized dealers reveals that the prices for the MG 6 and ZS models will remain unchanged for August.
MG RX5 Plus
The RX5 models have seen an average increase of EGP 50,000 in August.
The “Comfort” model now stands at 1.2 million pounds, whereas the “Luxury” variant is priced at 1.250 million pounds.
The 2023 MG RX5 Plus, categorized as an SUV, is powered by a 1500 cc turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 171 horsepower and 250 Newton/meter of torque.
This is paired with a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Impressively, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.8 seconds and offers a fuel efficiency of 6.8 liters per 100 km.
MG 5
The MG 5 models have experienced a rise of about EGP 10,000.
The “Standard” is now priced at 690,000 pounds, the “Comfort” at 730,000 pounds, and the “Luxury” variant at 760,000 pounds.
This 2023 sedan is driven by a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine, providing 120 horsepower and a torque of 150 Newton/meter.
MG ZS
Despite the overall trend, the ZS models have retained their July pricing.
The “Comfort” variant is available for approximately 805,000 pounds, increasing slightly for the upgraded version at 820,000 pounds, while the “Luxury” trim is set at 840,000 pounds.
The 2023 MG ZS, an SUV, houses a 1500 cc four-cylinder engine that churns out 123 horsepower and 135 Newton/meter of torque. It’s mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
MG 6
The 2023 MG 6 models maintained their previous month’s pricing. The “Luxury-Red Interior” is tagged at 930,000 pounds, and the “Luxury-Black Interior” at 955,000 pounds.
These sedans come with a 1500 cc turbo four-cylinder engine, yielding 169 horsepower and 250 Newton/meter of torque, combined with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
