“Egyptian Compulsory Insurance”: Licensing more than 22.3 thousand new cars during March

7,330 private cars, 13,281 motorcycles, and 1,001 vehicles

The monthly report on the number of vehicles that were compulsorily insured and licensed according to the report of the Egyptian Association for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance revealed that the Egyptian market absorbed 22.3 thousand (zero) vehicles during the month of last March.

The report also confirmed that the total number of vehicles for which insurance documents were issued amounted to about 3.1 thousand cars, model 2021, 5.1 thousand cars model 2022, 4.5 thousand cars model 2023, and 9.4 thousand cars model 2024.

Private cars

The report indicated that the number of zero-owner cars for which insurance documents were issued and licensed during the month of last March amounted to about 7.3 thousand “owner-owned” cars, including 260 cars of the 2021 model year, 475 cars of the 2022 model year, 1.4 thousand cars of the 2023 model year, and 5.1 thousand cars of the 2023 model year. One thousand 2024 cars.

Motor cycles

While the total number of motorcycles for which insurance documents were issued and licensed during last March was about 13.2 thousand bikes, including 2.8 thousand bikes model 2021, 4.1 thousand bikes model 2022, 2.9 thousand bikes model 2023, and 3.3 thousand bikes. Model 2024.

Truck vehicles

The total number of truck vehicles for which insurance documents were issued and licensed during last March amounted to more than a thousand cars, including 38 2021 model cars, 233 2022 transport cars, 129 2023 model cars, and 601 2024 cars.

Overall ranking

The report revealed that the “Hyundai” brand returned to the top of the overall ranking in the number of vehicles that were licensed during the month of last March, as it reached 802 cars, and in second place was “Chevrolet” with 763 cars, and in third place was “Kia” with about 722 cars, and in fourth place. “Mercedes” has about 625 cars, in fifth place is “Toyota” with about 620 cars, in sixth place is “MG” with about 512 cars, in seventh place is “Chery” with about 419 cars, and in eighth place is “Volkswagen” with 380 cars. “Nissan” ranked ninth with 366 cars, and “Mitsubishi” came in tenth place with 388 cars.

The “Hyundai” brand also topped the first place in the list of “owners” car licenses with about 795 cars, in second place was “Kia” with about 722 cars, in third place was “Mercedes” with 579 cars, and in fourth place was “MG” with about 512 cars. In fifth place was Toyota, with 494 cars.
