Arabiyat Egypt, the official agent for the Korean KGM (formerly SsangYong) brand in Egypt, officially announced a reduction in the prices of Korean Tauris and Tivoli cars by up to 300,000 Egyptian pounds, starting on March 14, 2024.

This step comes in response to the directives of the Egyptian state, the economic decisions taken by the government and the Central Bank of Egypt, and the stability of the exchange rate.

Ahmed Abu Khaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Arabiyat Egypt, said that this price reduction coincides with the change of the name of the Korean brand Ssangyong to KGM and as part of the company’s endeavor to provide competitive and attractive offers to customers, which enhances its presence in the local market and contributes to Providing easy purchasing opportunities for many customers.

The company set the prices of the Torres car, through 4 different categories of equipment and accessories, with a decrease of about 265 and 300 thousand pounds.

• The first category, “COMFORT,” was recorded at about 1,750 million pounds, compared to 2,050 million pounds.

• The second category, “ADVANCED,” is worth 1.925 million pounds, instead of 2.190 million pounds.

• The third category, “LUXURY,” is priced at 2,150 million pounds, compared to about 2,450 million pounds.
• The fourth category, “ADVENTURE” (four-wheel drive), was offered at about 2.290 million pounds, instead of 2.590 million pounds.

  

The “Torres” was equipped with a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc, with a power of 163 horsepower, and a torque of 280 Newton metres, connected to an automatic transmission. The cabin equipment includes an entertainment system consisting of a 12.3-inch touch screen, as well as an 8.0-inch touch screen. Inch climate control and digital instrument cluster.
