1.350 million pounds increase in Skoda prices during this March

The increase starts from 550 thousand pounds

Kayan Egypt, the exclusive agent for the Skoda brand in Egypt, announced an increase in the prices of Octavia and Kodiaq cars offered in the local market in different categories, with an increase starting from 550 thousand pounds and reaching 1.350 million pounds, at the beginning of this March, in comparison. The latest price list issued by the local agent of the brand during last April.

“Skoda Octavia”

The agent set the price of the Octavia at an increase of about 550,000 pounds and 1,150 million pounds.

• The first category, “Ambition,” is priced at 1.9 million pounds.

• The second category, “Style,” is worth 2.150 million pounds.

• The third category, “Style Plus,” costs about 2.4 million pounds.

• The fourth category, “RS,” is priced at 3 million pounds.

  

The Skoda Octavia model belongs to the sedan category, and is equipped with a 1,400 cc turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Newton/meters, connected to an eight-speed transmission.

The car relies on the front-wheel drive system, and accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h within 9 seconds. The average fuel consumption of the car is about 5.5 liters, when covering distances of up to 100 km.

“Skoda Kodiaq”

The price of the Skoda Kodiaq increased by between 1,025 and 1,350 million pounds over the previous price.

• The first category, “Ambition,” is priced at 2.950 million pounds.

• The second category, “Style,” is worth 3.150 million pounds.
• The fourth category, “Sport line,” is about 3.4 million pounds.

  

Skoda Kodiaq models are offered in two versions in the local market – the “First Edition” – powered by a four-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 1400 cc, producing 150 “horsepower” and a maximum torque of 250 Newton/meters, connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The second version of the Skoda Kodiaq model is available with a 2000 cc engine, generating 180 horsepower and a maximum torque of 330 Newton/meters, connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
