“Egyptian Compulsory Insurance: Over 32.9K Vehicles Licensed in November”

The Egyptian Association for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance recently reported that in June, the Egyptian market saw the licensing of 32.9 thousand vehicles, all of them brand new. The report detailed the issuance of insurance documents for different models, with 2023 seeing the highest number at about 9,860 vehicles.

Chevrolet secured the top spot in the overall ranking, obtaining licenses for approximately 1,246 vehicles, followed closely by Nissan in second place with 1,036 cars. Chery claimed the third position with 911 cars, while Mercedes and Kia rounded out the top five.

The total vehicles licensed for the 2020 model reached around 2,145, increasing to 3,873 for the 2021 model, and further escalating to 8,175 and 8,843 for the 2022 and 2024 models, respectively.
